Futronic provides Application Programming Interface (API) for FS88 to capture fingerprint image on the above stated platforms. Product demo was only focused on the hardware itself. Live capturing of fingerprint was demonstrated directly from the SDK/API. Demo unit was not available, requested item is good as sold.

SecuGen presented the features and benefits of Hamster Pro Fingerprint Scanner. Capturing of fingerprint was conducted using the SDK. Integration and connectivity from the SDK to Web Browser (Internet Explorer, ActiveX control) was demonstrated. Various sample codes and documentations were presented in different programming language/platforms such as C, C++, Java, and Visual Basic.
Comparison
Futronic and SecuGen both presented the fingerprint scanner during the requested time of presentation. Futronic FS88 and SecuGen Hamster Pro are compatible in various platforms such as Windows, Linux, C, C++, Java and Visual Basic. However, Futronic FS88 failed to demonstrate the actual integration and connectivity of the fingerprint scanner from the SDK to the Web Interface unlike SecuGen Hamster Pro. Sample codes and documentations were present in Hamster Pro while Futronic FS88 merely demonstrated the hardware itself. Futronic FS88 amounts to Php5,500 while SecuGen is a bit higher of 21.82% amounting to Php6,700.
