iReportPH is a free mobile app in iOS and Android that aims people to report concerns by using smartphones and submitting it to proper authorities.
A meeting was held at the 20th Floor, DILG-NAPOLCOM Center Building on 12 October 2016 between Information Systems and Technology Management Service (ISTMS) staff and Cormant Technologies represented by Mr. Ian Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of the company.
The meeting was requested by the company to introduce and/or offer a free mobile application named ‘iReportPH’ developed and designed to serve as reporting mechanism of any issues/feedback (e.g. criminal acts, health services, trade and goods, traffic and transportation, etc.) to government offices/bodies.
Cormant Technologies Inc. launched iReportPH mobile application for free in the Philippines. The mobile application aims to encourage and empower individuals or groups to report any kind of disturbances, issues or concerns just by using their smart phones and submitting it to the proper authorities with just a click of a button.
A live presentation of the iReportPH was conducted, showing the features, capability and limitation of the system based on its objective to serve as intermediary interface between the people and the government.
As presented, the iReportPH is a one-way reporting system that can be accessed and used by anybody after downloading it into their smart phones and/or tablets and upon completion and submission of the registration form. An automatic reply will be sent back to the sender as soon as the report is received by the database. The report will then be forwarded to the concerned government office together with the location where it was reported. The system allows attachment of up to 10 MB (image or video).
